Margaret (Peggy) Henderson Hasse of Driftwood, TX and Wyoming, OH died on December 31, 2018 at the age of 65. She was born on December 4, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA to James H. Henderson and Nelly Petrosky Henderson. She received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, and was among the first women enrolled in the University. After graduation, she began a 38-year career with The Procter & Gamble Company in Cincinnati working in research and product development. She was an inventor on 36 U.S. patents.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Donald E. Hasse of Driftwood, TX, whom she met at Notre Dame and again at Procter & Gamble, and by their loving children, Brian R. Hasse and his wife Karalee of New Albany, OH, Kevin B. Hasse of Cincinnati, Christopher H. Hasse and his wife Jennifer of Cincinnati, and Adam M. Hasse of Driftwood, TX. She adored and helped care for her grandchildren, Grayson J. Hasse, Everett R. Hasse and Mary Katherine Hasse. She is also survived by her sister Elena M. Henderson of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament of Virginia, her sister L. Catherine Henderson and her husband James Stroud of Austin, TX, and her brother James M. Henderson of Wimberley, TX. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Road, Liberty Township, OH 45044. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10 at St. Clare Chapel, 60 Compton Road, Cincinnati, with Fr. Tom Richstatter as celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Glendale, OH.
