Margaret Lloyd Averett Halpin, 76, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Loveland, Ohio. Born on June 5, 1948, Margaret grew up in Kentucky and graduated from Henry Clay High School in Lexington before continuing her education at Western Kentucky University. She was known for her sophistication, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her.
Margaret had a deep love for horseback riding and found joy in knitting, interior design, golf, tennis, and dog training. Her refined taste and caring nature were evident in all aspects of her life. She was a devoted member of St. Gertrude Church, where she found spiritual fulfillment and community.
She is survived by her loving husband, John; her sons William (Alex), Stephen (Amanda), Chris (Stephanie), Ben (Kelly), and John; her cherished grandchildren Hannah (Chris), Ellie, Max, Oliver, Farra, Alice, Eliza, Jack, and Wyatt; and her great-grandson Tommy. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Anne.
A visitation will be held at the St. Gertrude Parish Center on Friday, February 21st from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Gertrude Church at 1:00 p.m. Margaret’s warmth and grace touched many lives. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
