Margie Ann Thielmeyer, 63, was surrounded by her family as she passed away at 10:29 AM, Sunday, November 22, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Margie was born December 25, 1956 to John and Margie Russell. She married Don Thielmeyer “the boy down the street” who was her longtime friend and high school sweetheart, on May 27
th 1977. She gave birth to two girls, Jaclyn and Jayne.
Margie was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her daughters and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role of Mawmaw. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her grandkids. They were her world and she was theirs. She was their playmate, the keeper of their secrets, their biggest cheerleader, and their warmest hug. She gave them a lifetime of memories and traditions that will continue to shape the type of people they will become.
When Margie made a friend, they were friends for life. She cherished “her people”, she took care of them. She gave them something very important to her, and that was laughter. She loved to laugh, and her laughter was infectious. Margie knew how to make things fun, she was the person you wanted to sit by, sit on the porch with, or pour your heart out too. And in return, she gave you back her positive insight and trusting intuition.
