Maria M. Dechering

Born in Börgerwald, Germany on September 12, 1929 to the late Nikolaus and Angela Antons. Beloved wife of the late John Dechering. Loving mother of Martin (Monica) Dechering, Barb Dechering, Tony (Pattie Naber) Dechering, Lisa (Kevin) Matix, and the late Rosemary Dechering. Dear grandmother of Matthew, Megan, Michael, Jonathan, Anna, and Nicholas. Also survived by relatives and friends. Passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at age 95. Visitation will be held at St. Ignatius, 5222 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247, on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 10:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Old Cemetery, 3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205. Reception will follow in the undercroft at St. Ignatius. For those not attending the Burial, the reception doors will be open following Mass.
