Marian A. Zimmerman

Marian Alma Zimmerman, passed away peacefully at Llanfair Retirement Community on Sunday, September 4, 2011. Marian was born on August 9, 1929. Beloved daughter of the late John Zimmerman and Agnes Cecelia Zimmerman (née Schriefer). She had one sibling, Robert J. Zimmerman who died on January 21, 1985. Marian received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Cincinnati in 1951 and was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She received a Masters of Education from the University of Cincinnati in 1965. Marian was a devoted teacher and taught in the Cincinnati Public Schools for 30 years. After retirement, she was a long time volunteer at local hospitals. Marian was an active member of College Hill Presbyterian Church since 1955. Marian was an avid sports fan and loved reading mysteries. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill Friday September 16th from 9:30 AM until memorial service at 10 AM.
