Marian E. Heismann

Marian E. Heismann (Bax), 94, peacefully went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 9, 2012 with her family by her side. Marian was born September 16, 1917 to William F. and Frieda C. Bax (Siemer). She was greeted at the pearly white gates by her parents, brother James and her husband August C. Heismann. She leaves behind five children; Gus (Nancy), Carl (Shirley), Mary (Wallace) McLane, Richard (Sandra), and Dan (Karen). She also has twelve grandchildren: Rick (Juanita), A. Chris (Kimberly), Kimberly Jean, Wendy (Michael) Minor, Jeff (Stephanie), Dave (Sheyna), Carol (Kendall) Grove, Zachary (Jennie), Jeremy (Stephanie), Casey (Lynn) Gowler, Eric (Julie) Gowler, Amanda and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Marian taught at Runyon School and Springdale Elementary for many years. She also taught Round Dancing at The Hayloft for 35 years while her husband, Gus, taught Square Dancing. After retiring, she stayed active; playing bridge, working on quilts and working with the Seniors group at Mason UMC. Since 2008, she lived at Mason Christian Village. Visitation will be Monday, July 16, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the service at noon at Hodapp Funeral Home-LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. (in Bethany) with interment at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Mason United Methodist Church, or charity of your choice.
