Marianne Ross

Marianne Ross (nee Westerling) 81 of Sharonville, Ohio. Beloved wife of Gary Earl Ross for 61 years. Devoted Mother of Gary (Donita) Ross, and Scott (Tiffany) Ross. Dear Grandmother of Dylan (Meghan) Schenkel, Dustin (Jordann) Wesley, Brendan Ross, and Gunnar Ross. Great-grandmother of 4. She was born in Hildesheim, Germany and immigrated to the US with her family at age 13. Preceded in death by her parents Marie Wagner and Verner Westerling, and brothers Walter Westerling and Verner Westerling.
Marianne was a bus driver for Princeton City Schools for 30+ years and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and playing cards with her friends. She retired shortly after the birth of her third grandson to spend time with her grandchildren. She was very proud of her German heritage and was an active member of Germania Society of Cincinnati. She passed away peacefully on December 23 at Hospice of Cincinnati. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be at Hodapp Funeral Home in West Chester Township, Ohio Thursday, January 11, 2024 6:00pm-8:00pm.
