Marilyn Sue Boone

January 21, 1949 — February 20, 2025

Marilyn Sue Boone, affectionately known as Sue, Momma, Mom, and Mom Mom, passed away surrounded by her loved ones and her bird Bobbi on February 20, 2025. Sue was born on January 21, 1949. The woman. The decorator. The artist. Sue was a woman of faith. She had an unmatched eye for interior design, and her creativity shone through in everything she touched. She took joy in cooking, decorating and creating beautiful things. Her laughter was infectious, and her sense of humor was always a source of joy for those around her.

She was a dedicated businesswoman, running and operating Queen City Concrete Pumping for most of her life. Sue was the proud owner of Julie’s Lounge in Sharonville, where she created a welcoming atmosphere for all who walked through its doors and cooked for her “Ford” family. Sue had a unique talent for making everyone feel special and valued. Her love for her father, children, grandchildren and family was evident in everything she did.

Her passions were as varied as they were vibrant. She loved to play slot machines and cherished her trip to Las Vegas, with her daughter Kim. Sue loved drinking mocha frappes and watching Cash Cab in the mornings. Sue loved to dance, listen to records, yell at the Bengals, shop, cook, and enjoy good times with her animals and her family. Sue especially enjoyed her time with Leslie who was her best friend since she was 16.

Sue was beautiful inside and out. She had a fashion vibe and flair that was uniquely her own. She raced cars and even won awards for it, showcasing her fearless spirit and love for adventure.

Sue had a deep bond with her daughter Kim, and Kim’s husband Ed, and with her son Michael, and his wife Sonya. She had a loving relationship with her grandchildren Madison, and Madison’s husband Corey, Nikole, Josh, Nick, Bryce and Joe. Her sister Dolores, and her brother Clay all held a special place in her heart. Sue cherished Sarah, Von, Kellie and Tammie and all her nieces, nephews and their families. The loss of her father at a young age broke her heart, but she carried his memory with love and strength.

Sue was married many years to Pat Boone, whom she loved deeply. Sue cherished her relationships with all of the Boones: Rick and Beth, Mike and Pam, Tim and Jan, Danny and their children.

She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Guy, her dad Chester Guy, her mother-in-law Claire Boone, Father-in-law Pat Boone Sr., her sister Kathy, her brother Chet and her good friend Shannon.

Sue's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In the end, she did it her way. So, let's raise a glass of wine and play her favorite Elvis record as we remember her fondly.
