Marjorie E. Uth died on Feb. 10 at Twin Towers. She was born in Dayton to the late Kenneth and Alveta (Neatherton) Elzey. On July 26, 1953, she married Rev. Dr. Ralph E. Uth, who preceded her in death in 2016.
Mrs. Uth taught piano for a time. She also performed with the Singing Wives of Ministers for 30 years including as the accompanist. Following her retirement, she also sang with and accompanied the Belles & Beaux singing group and played in the handbell choir at Twin Towers.
Mrs. Uth is survived by her daughters Barbara (Robert) Braley of Avilla, IN, and Carol Uth of Cincinnati and three grandchildren, Sr. Anne Marie (nee Elisabeth Anne) Braley of Ada, MI; Ian (Jessica) Braley of Fort Wayne, IN; and Kenneth Braley of Hudson, IN. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Joan Uth and two nephews, Charles (Alexandra) and John (Colleen) Uth, all of Chicago, IL.
A memorial service for Mrs. Uth will be held at a future date.
