Mark leaves behind both his parents: Jane E Maher of Cincinnati and Mark A. Maher Jr. of Tennessee, as well as his 4 younger siblings: his brother and business partner, Stephen Maher, his sisters Ruth M. Maher of North Carolina, and Anita J. Maher Gay of Vermont, and Richard D. Maher, missionary in Ukraine. He also leaves behind 4 nephews: Trenton Gay, Jonathan Gay, Ian Gay, and David Maher, and two nieces: Elisabeth Maher and Liana Jane Gay. Mark also leaves behind several very close friends whom he also called family. In 1993, Mark Maher founded Cutting Edge Selections, a fine wine importer and distributor here in Cincinnati. As he was very popular in the culinary community, the Cincinnati Enquirer will be featuring an article on Mark's work here in Cincinnati. Viewing will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Cintas Center at Xavier University, 1624 Herald Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207 in Banquet Room II in the Banquet and Conference Center from 1:30 PM until Remembrance Ceremony at 3:30 PM. Burial will take place at Saint Mary Cemetery, 701 East Ross Avenue, St. Bernard, 45217 on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM (meet at main gate at 9:45 AM.)
