Martha A. Young

Martha (Martie) Young (nee Arbic) passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024 at the age of 81 years old. She was surrounded by family and close loved ones. Martie was born on November 30, 1942 in Battle Creek, Michigan to the late Peter Arbic and Barbara Arbic (nee Britvec). She is preceded in death by her sister, Marie Marcum (nee Arbic) and brother, Peter Arbic.

 Cherished mother to Michael (Erin) Young and Jenifer (Jeffrey) Alexander.

 Fabulous grandmother to Abigail Ryan, Jacob Ryan, Sean Young and Riley Young. 

Martie was a Sycamore High School graduate of 1961. She was a member of her beloved friend group, nicknamed the ‘Dizzy Dozen’. 

During her wonderful years she was the 1st female President of the Pisgah Youth Organization (PYO). She was a sales rep for Durkee foods for a number of years. Martie was an office manager for Remax Realty Group where she made lots of amazing friends.

 Martie leaves behind many friends, family and loved ones who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 11am until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1. Interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery following the funeral service.
