Marvin Meyer

MEYER, Marvin "Twist." Loving husband of the late Georgetta T. Meyer (nee Brickweg), dear father of Teresa Hornback, David (Nancy) Meyer and Susan (Jerry) Day, grandfather of Matthew, Anthony and Sam Day, great grandfather of Olivia Grace and Sophia Noelle Day, step grandfather of Jonathan and Jamie Hamilton, step great-grandfather of Jordan McCoy and Zachary Hamilton, brother of Mildred Stegman, Grace Sears, Harry Meyer and the late Robert, Norbert and Edna Mae Meyer, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marvin was a member of St. Pat's K of C #1747, was Knight of the Year in 1971, was a member of Caldwell U. Hall of Fame in 1997, volunteered in the emergency room of Good Samaritan Hospital for many years, graduated from UC in 1962 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, retired from US Bank in 1995 after 47 years of service, and was an avid golfer. Passed away Monday, May 11, 2015, at the age of 86. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Thursday 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Assumption, 7711 Joseph, Mt. Healthy, Friday 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
