BALSAMO, Mary A. (nee Coppola), Loving wife of the late Gino Balsamo, beloved mother of Leo Balsamo and Fausta (the late Ero) Selander, great grandmother of Jesse Freeman Balsamo, sister of the late Rae Vigorito, Mary Montano, Luisa and Carolina Canestri and Christine, Gaetano, Michael, Salvatore, Frank and Andrew Coppola. Passed away at her home, Wednesday, February 3, 2010, in Cincinnati, OH, at the age of 99. Mrs. Balsamo was a member of the American Committee on Italian Migration and she and her late husband Gino owned and operated Balsamo Travel in New Haven, CT, for over 30 years.
