BEUMER, Mary Ellen (nee Bangert) age 96, passed away January 27, 2019 while a resident of Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born on October 15, 1922 to Viola and Oscar Bangert in St. Bernard. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Angels High School, Our Lady of Cincinnati College and Xavier University. She caught the eye of her future husband Irvin Beumer as she was leading the OLA band as drum major. They were married for 59 years. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Irvin Beumer, her parents, her sister Betty Jane Wallenhorst and her daughter Mary Ellen Humbert. She is survived by her daughter Emily Gustafson (Chris), son in law Michael B. Humbert, grandchildren Molly Marburger (Patrick), Bridget Castellini (Todd), Matthew Gustafson (Jodi), Andrew Gustafson and Michael L. Humbert and her beloved great - grandchildren Megan and Maggie Marburger, Mary Annah and Gabriel Castellini. Visitation at St. Clement Church, 4536, Vine Street, 45217 on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 10 until Mass of Christian Burial at 11.
