SMITH, Mary Ellen (nee Hughes) beloved wife of 44 years to Larry W. Smith. Loving mother to Andy (Elizabeth) Smith, Erin (Michael) Markey and Megan (Shawn) League. Cherished grandma of Jack and Ben Smith; Evelyn, Charles and Zachary Markey; Ryan and Sam League. Beloved daughter of Robert and Lois Hughes. Dear sister of Jerry (Alice) Hughes, Kathy (the late R. Craig) Kelley, Tom (Linda) Hughes, Dan (Cathy) Hughes and Sally (Bill) Petersen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary Ellen retired after 25 years of service at Finneytown and Winton Woods Schools. She was a dedicated volunteer at St. Vivian Church and volunteer usher at the Aronoff Center. Mary Ellen passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the age of 66. Visitation will be held at St. Vivian Church, 7600 Winton Rd., Finneytown on Saturday, October 15th from 9:30 AM until Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
