Mary Fay Dapper

DAPPER, Mary Fay (nee Truss) died peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Friday, September 21, 2018 in Finneytown at the age of 91. Fay had a wonderful and full life as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Fay was born on September 3, 1927 in Cincinnati and was the dearest daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Truss. Fay was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and Our Lady of Cincinnati College. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, James Dapper, children Susan (Philip) Pahner, Michael (Pam) Dapper, Amy (Willard) Overstreet, Dan (Frank Pena) Dapper, Molly (Dan) Davenport, as well as 4 nieces, 3 nephews, 10 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Steve (Beverly) Truss and Chris Truss. She was preceded in death by two of her children, Theresa Dapper and Mark Dapper.
For many years Fay was a successful Cincinnati realtor as evident by her long standing membership in the Greater Cincinnati Realtor’s Million Dollar Club. She loved playing Bridge with friends, reading novels and was an avid tennis player and golfer as well as a Cincinnati Reds fan. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Vivian’s and loved attending mass with her husband.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26, 4:00-7:00pm at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, 45224. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 27, 10:00am at St. Vivian Church, 7600 Winton Road, Finneytown, 45224.
