SCHULER, Mary Georgia "Georgie," 77, passed away Nov. 4, after a courageous four-plus year fight against pancreatic cancer. Born Sept. 24, 1941, to Bernard and Mary (Ratermann) Schuler, Georgie was a lifelong resident of Greenhills, walking to the commons and attending Our Lady of the Rosary. She worked for 20+ years at UC Health, applying patient payments. Georgie loved the Big Red Machine, going to Reds games with the Rosie Reds. Animals made her smile, especially her cats, Plaid and Purrdy. She was a devoted caregiver to her mother and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Survived by sisters Rita Dooley and Joan, brother Greg (Patti) and sister-in-law Sandy. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters Berni, Carol and Martha; brothers Larry, Ed, Paul and Jim; and in laws Caroline, Maureen and Charlie. Services are Saturday at Our Lady of the Rosary Church (17 Farragut Ave., Greenhills): showing at 10 a.m., funeral mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, make donations to UC Health Foundation or to the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund.
