Mary H. Honebrink

HONEBRINK, Mary H. (nee Dwyer), beloved wife and center of the universe for Roger, her husband of 61 marvelous years. She is survived by five devoted children Carol (Joseph) Lavoritano, Ann Honebrink (Steven Saris), Mark (Rosemary) Honebrink, Emily (Gary) Machles and Amy Honebrink; sisters-in-law Jackie Dwyer and Carol Sawyer; 10 loving grandchildren Michael Saris (Kathryn), Thomas Saris, Robert Saris, Daniel Saris, Mark Lavoritano (Rebecca), Scott Lavoritano, Michael Honebrink, Jack Honebrink, Mary Kaitlin Honebrink and Joey Honebrink; step-grandchildren Andrew Machles, Jonathan Machles and Maren Machles; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Roy Dwyer. Mary was born on April 12, 1925, in Ft. Benning, GA, of Col. Philip R. and Mary C. Dwyer. She excelled in many roles during her 87 years: a well-traveled Army brat before marriage, loving wife and mother, wonderful homemaker, great cook, talented needle worker, loyal friend, avid golfer, accomplished gardener, generous community volunteer and devout Catholic. She will be richly rewarded in Heaven and sorely missed on earth. Family will receive friends at St. James of the Valley Church, 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, Saturday from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment private.
