Mary Kathryn Schehr (Sis)

Mary Kathryn (Sis) (nee Mitsch) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the age of 81 at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash. She was born on November 22, 1940, to the late Paul and Mary Kathryn Mitsch. Sis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) and son, Mark (Deb, living). She was the beloved mother of Susan, John, and Alan (Chris) Schehr; cherished grandmother of Amanda, Mark, Paul, Zach, Ben, Joe, and Michael; treasured great-grandmother of Tyler, Kathryn, Evelyn, Lena, Andrew; dear sister of Jim Mitsch.

Sis enjoyed life! She will be remembered for volunteering to many organizations, playing sports, playing cards/games, cooking, moving from sun-up to sun-down . But most of all she will be remembered for her beautiful smile and laughter. She was sunshine to all of her family and friends.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday December 10, 2021 at Hodapp Funeral Home in Carthage, 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45216, From 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. A Memorial Mass will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Reading, 330 W Vine St, Cincinnati, OH 45215, Beginning at 12 Noon.
