Mary Margaret Merland

MERLAND, Mary (nee Piening) beloved wife of the late Robert Merland for 58 years. Loving mother of Mary Kay Luchenbill, Bob (Susan) Merland, Joyce (Joseph) Mogan, Janet (Skip) Berger, Elaine (Jeff) Small, and Joe Merland. Dear grandmother of 14 and dear great-grandmother of 33. She is also survived by many friends and relatives. Mary enjoyed watching baseball, playing golf, and spending time with her grandchildren. She passed away February 17, 2015 at age 93. Visitation will be held at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040, on Friday (2/20) from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Southwest, 7625 Camargo Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243, and/or to St. Jude Children's Hospital St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
