Mary Kay Piller

Mary Kay Piller (nee Kinney), beloved wife of 60 years of Linus A. Piller, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born on June 27, 1936, to Julia and Joseph Kinney, Kay received a bachelor’s degree from Edgecliff College and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. She taught Latin at St. Mary’s, Oak Hills, Mount Notre Dame, and McAuley High Schools. She was a loving mother of David (Linda) Piller, Katie (Mike) Beutel, Michael (Kelly) Piller, and Susan (Jim) Funk and proud grandmother of Joe, Nick, Alex, Hannah, Ben, Julia, Leah, Jonathan, John, and Evie.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and others at Christ Hospital for their compassionate care over the past several weeks.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Burial at Gate of Heaven
