RAFFEL, Mary M. “Miss Mary”, daughter of the late David and Lucy Sharkey, wife of James C. Raffel, loving mother of 1st. Sgt. John A. (Jennifer) Hamen and Sarah M. (Eric) Watts, awesome grandmother of Rebekka, Mathias, Viktoria Alexandria, Sebastian, and Maximilian Hamen, Isaiah, Keeley and Landen Watts, and the late John Andrew Hamen IV and Lukas Hamen, and dear sister of Phil (Liz) Sharkey. Saturday, December 27, 2008, age 68. Mary graduated from St. Mary’s Academy, Nauvoo, IL, attended Loretta Heights College, Denver, CO, and graduated from Quincy College, Quincy, IL. Visitation at St. John Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., West Chester, OH 45069 Friday, Jan. 2 from 10:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon.
