Mary Y. Woodruff passed away on Friday November 17th. A loving wife and mother, Mary was born on February 3, 1939. After graduating from Norwood High School, she went to work for Cincinnati Milling Machine where she met the love of her life Kelly, whom she married in 1962. After raising three children, Mary opened two Hallmark Card Shops in Milford and was active with local women’s business associations in Cincinnati. As an active member at Crestview Presbyterian Church, she taught Vacation Bible School, sang in the choir and rang hand bells until unable due to her illness. Mary was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed playing for friends and family. Mary loved the beach, enjoyed arranging family vacations, watching theater productions and visiting the Cincinnati Zoo. Her family loved her dry sense of humor and quick wit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly, and is survived by her son Brent and his wife Lynn of Atlanta, son Brian and wife Katie of West Chester and daughter Ellen and husband Kurt Lust of Mason and her nine grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association – www.alz.org/cincinnati.
