Maryan V. Gardner

GARDNER Maryan V., beloved wife of the late Herbert P. Gardner, died May 19th. She was 92. Maryan is survived by her sons Thomas (Claire), Stephen, and Michael (Karen); her grandchildren Lisa (Matthew), Thomas (Susan), Michael (Kara), Laura and Stephen; and great grandsons Zachary, Joshua, and Samuel. She was preceded in death by her infant son Anthony. Maryan was the Butterfly Fly Lady of Finneytown where she lived for over 50 years and gave much love and joy to both friends and strangers by giving them butterfly pins. Maryan loved being Catholic. She understood the message of Jesus to love one another. She embraced it. She lived it. Maryan was Notre Dame’s greatest fan. Memorial Mass of Resurrection at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5720 Hamilton-Mason Rd., Liberty Township, OH. Monday June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. Gathering preceding Mass at 10:00a.m. Lunch after Mass at the Church. In lieu of flowers, a loving prayer for Maryan.
