Maureen P. Keane (nee Doohan), beloved wife of James J. Keane, loving Mum of Anthony (Laura) Keane, David (Marylou) Keane, Patricia (Gregg) Gentil, James (Audrey) Keane, Elizabeth Keane and Frances (Roderick) Hurley, Granny of Ann, Thomas, Ellen, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, and the late Jared, Kaitlyn, Christine, Theresa, Daniel, Andrew, John, David, Elissa, Margaret, Emily and great-grand daughter Ellison and sister to Pauline and Christine.
Maureen and James have been married over 60 years. They emigrated from England in 1968 to California. She was a world traveler and their bucket list was to fly around the world in first class, which they were able to accomplish. Being a Mum and Granny, was her pride and joy in life, but she also enjoyed doing a variety of crafts. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and being a member of Crafty Characters at St. Brendan’s Clearwater Beach, Florida. She also enjoyed gardening and collecting all sorts of things, especially shells she found on the beach.
Maureen passed away at the age of 82, a visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home West Chester, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd. (Rt 42), West Chester, OH 45069 on Friday, October 30 from 5 until 7PM, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in West Chester, 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
