Max Lavern Audas, 86 of Independence Kentucky passed away on May 19th, 2023. Born October 5th 1936, in Brooklyn, Iowa. Max was a loving and very devoted husband and father. Max served his country in the Army while being stationed in Korea. After serving in the Army Max started his railroad career with the Rock Island rail road in Iowa. Max and Donna relocated to West Chester, Ohio and began work with NewBerry railroad construction where he worked until retirement. Max was the definition of patience and understanding, always willing to give a helping hand even to a stranger. Max passed along all his knowledge to his kids who today carry on that legacy of strong family values. Max and his wife Donna enjoyed their vacation home in sunny Ft Meyers Florida allowing them to escape the cold Ohio winters. Although quiet, and reserved Max always provided for his family never missing a much needed vacation, picking up and dropping off the kids to numerous sporting events, helping his boys with their classic cars and being that loving father to his daughter Deanna. Max had a soft spot for animals Max and Donna always had a fur baby at their feet and their current dog Rusty (A Yorkshire Terrier) was a rescue from a local shelter in Hamilton Ohio.
Max is survived by his beloved wife Donna L. Audas; Sister Dona Eisher Audas; Children Randy Audas, Mike Audas & Deanna (Seyberth) Audas; Grandchildren Jesse Audas, Chase Audas, Zack Audas, Lexi Seyberth, Rylee Seyberth; Great Grandchild Winston Audas.
Max was preceded in death by his parents Frank Audas and Irene Audas, Stepmother Myrtle Audas; Brothers Eldon Audas, Don Audas; ; Sister Eunice Saylor Audas.
