Melba H. Cohee

October 19, 1930 — June 26, 2024

Melba Louise Cohee, 93, entered into Heaven June 26, 2024. She was the wife of Walter Bergen Cohee. They shared 70 beautiful years of marriage. 

 Born in Maderia, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wilhelmine (Mini) and Edward Henke. She graduated from Maderia High School.

 Melba was a member of the King of Kings Church. She enjoyed Bible study, knitting, reading, searching for shells and spending time with family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She lit up the room with her amazing smile and warm personality. She never had an unkind word to say and brought joy into the lives of all who knew her. She set an example of faith and love for the Lord and instilled the importance of family. She will be missed and forever in our hearts. 

 Melba is survived by her husband Walter Cohee, son Benjamin Cohee and his wife, 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother Daniel Henke and his wife, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas Cohee and brother Norbert Henke. 

 A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at King of Kings Lutheran Church 3621 Socialville-Fosters Rd. Mason, OH 45040 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. A lunch will follow the funeral services at the Church.
