Eckstein Melvin Lt. Col. US Army Ret. passed away Dec 3rd 2020 at Age 92.

Beloved husband for 68 years to Virginia Eckstein (nee Korte).

Loving father of Michele (Brian) Schaft & Lynn (Jay) Bourgraf.

Cherished grandfather of Brian Blackburn, Rhonda Loosle & Tina Ahr, Great Grandfather of Sam, Tanner, Hunter, Maria & Lucas and Great-Great Grandfather of Nolan & Genevieve.

Brother of the late Marylyn Rohling & Erwin Eckstein.

Melvin was a Northside native, graduate of Roger Bacon High School and a decorated Korean War Veteran, 2nd Chemical Corp. Some of his accomplishments include the Army War College, Army Reserves, Process Control Engineer at P&G for 26 years & cofounder of MTD & Assocs.

Visitation on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., College Hill, 45224. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial, St. Margaret Mary Church, 1830 W Galbraith Rd., North College Hill, 45239 at 11 AM. Internment service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
