Meredith Ann Larsen left us on September 5, 2019 after a far too brief 35 years. She will be greatly missed by her mother Susan and sister Melissa. Throughout her life Meredith struggled and fought against adversity both medically and socially. Her smile was bright and she shared it with all she met. She had a vast empathy for others, concern for humans and animals in need, and the ability to remain optimistic even in the darkest of circumstances.
Travel, photography, sewing, writing and reading were great passions that Meredith pursued. She found a love in researching her family ancestry, tracing relatives back to 1700 Scotland and 1064 England. She cataloged and persevered family history by reaching out to multiple people, finding historical documents and photos. Her travels included trips to England, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Luxemburg, France, and Italy. Sewing period dresses had been a passion and in the last few months, new patterns and projects have brought her enjoyment. Meredith graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Journalism. She was published in the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Springboro Press. She has written touching stories of friends and family.
Meredith was taken from us too quickly, and there were many more dreams she wished to pursue and accomplish. We know she and her father, Robert Gordon Skinner Larsen, are together and watching over us now. She is survived by her mother and sister and a loving family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
