Terrence Michael Harp, Mike to his family and friends and Big Mike to his nieces and nephews.
Mike was born on March 15, 1961. He was 55 years old when he passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 19, 2017.
Mike was the only son of Terry and Sandra Harp, residents of West Chester for over 40 years. Mike has 4 married sisters, Chari (married to Richard Gough), Patti (married to David VanGheem), Suzi (married to Joe Phillips) and Jamie (married to Wayne Rush). He leaves behind 8 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews.
Mike has 2 children Cameron and Justin Harp. Both reside in California.
Mike is a graduate of Lakota High School in 1980. He moved to California and began coaching football. He remained a football coach for over 30 years. He coached 100's of young men and the impact he made in their lives is incalculable.
Mike was a devout Catholic and loved the Lord with his whole heart, mind and soul. He joyfully took his parents to Mass every Sunday. He will be sorely missed here but will now shares his bright light in heaven.
Mike moved back to West Chester in July of 2016. He resided in Hamilton when he passed away.
Mike was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and coach.
Visitation will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., West Chester, Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation be made in Mike's honor to the Alzheimer's association.
