Nancy Ruth Rice (nee Selby)

Nancy Ruth Rice (nee Selby), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 6, 2023 at the age of 90.  Beloved wife of the late James F. Rice, MD, for 59 years, Nancy grew up in College Hill and her fondest memories were of this community, taking childhood vacations at Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park, Indiana, attending Hughes High School, serving at College Hill Presbyterian Church and raising her family.  Nancy was a devoted mother and is survived by her children Alison, Cindy (Larry), Jim and John, her grandchildren Matt (Sydney), Ben (Chelsea), Abby, Tim and Hannah and by her great-grandchild Sutton.  A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Monday March 13, 2023 at College Hill Presbyterian Church (5742 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill) with a service at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nancy to College Hill Presbyterian Church.  Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com.
