Nicholas Joseph Munafo Jr., known to his loved ones as Nick, passed away on September 25^th, 2023, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 76. He was born on March 1^st, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nick was a selfless individual who was known for his amazing culinary skills and his dedication to his family. He was a devoted father, a generous and loving grandfather, and an avid sports fan.

Nick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pat Munafo, and his children: Nick Munafo III (Joe Giugliano), Debbie Henning, Mick Munafo (Tricia), and Tony Munafo (Heather). He was also a proud grandfather to his grandchildren: Lexi Munafo, Regan Flory, Jake Munafo, Ryanne Flory, Landen Munafo, Noah Henning, and Brooklyn Munafo. Nick is also survived by his siblings: Rosalie MacKay, Chris Munafo, Mark Munafo, John Munafo, Steve Munafo, and Maria Trimbach. He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Munafo Sr., and his mother, Theresa Munafo.

Nick attended St. Gabriel Primary School and later graduated from Roger Bacon High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969, and his service to his country was greatly appreciated.

For 40 years, Nick dedicated himself to the family business of grocery stores. He also volunteered his time at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, showing his commitment to serving others.

Nick was a member of St. Gabriel Church, where he found solace and strength in his faith. He had a passion for traveling, food, cooking, singing, and sports, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. Nick especially enjoyed attending luncheons with his high school Spartan friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1^st, at Hodapp Funeral Home, located at 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, from 3-5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM on Monday, October 2^nd, 2023, at St. Gabriel Church, located at 48 W. Sharon Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45246. Nick will be laid to rest in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
