Nolan Slaughter

Slaughter, Nolan Devoted husband of Bettye Slaughter (nee Ramage) for 62 years. Loving father of Michael (Carolyn) Slaughter and Gayle (Lew) Clyburn. Dear grandfather of Kristen (Brendan) Leavitt and Jonathan (Stacy) Slaughter. Great grandfather of Ellie and Anna Leavitt, and Addison Slaughter. Brother in law of Thomas Ramage. Also survived by many nieces. Passed away, July 24, 2011, age 86. Nolan was an Army veteran of WWII where he served as a combat medic with the 3rd Armored Division. He participated in all 5 major fronts where he received 5 bronze battle stars and several other prestigious medals. Visitation will take place on Thursday at Faith Community United Methodist Church, 8230 Cox Rd., West Chester, from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am.
