Norman L. Durham

DURHAM, Norman L.  Beloved husband of Marilyn R. Durham (nee Keyer).  Father of Deborah Walton, Michael (Jenny) Durham and Jacoba (Randall) Dickerson.  Step-father of Butch (the late Dawn) Baldock, Vince (Jacqueline) Baldock, Chris (Margie) Baldock, Michael Baldock and Victor Baldock.  Loving grandfather of Jennifer, David, Nick, Heather, Michael, Jared, Tyler, Daniel, Charissa, M. Tyler, Clayton, Zachary, Alix, Jake, Haley, Quentin and Amber.  Also survived by several great-grandchildren. Brother to Fontilla Dick.  Norman also leaves a niece Denise Johnson and a nephew Harold Watson.  Brother-in-law to Marvin (Leane) Keyer and Melvin Keyer.  During his lifetime, he was employed at Procter & Gamble for 38 years, was a Past Master of Carthage Lodge #573, member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Syrian Shrine (Hospital Hosts), Hillbilly Clan #5 and Eastern Star #494.  Norman was formerly the Director of DeMolay Knights and a member of the Syrian Roadsters.  Norman was proud and happy to have spent so much time helping children both in the Hospital Hosts and DeMolay Knights but, most of all, he loved his wife, children and grandchildren.  Passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at the age of 78.  Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Sunday 4-7 p.m. with Carthage Lodge, Norwood and Winton #576 and Scottish Rite Ring Services beginning at 7 p.m.  Funeral service will be held Monday 10 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.  If so desired, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229, or the Syrian Shrine, 9730 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45215.
