Norman R. Haag

December 30, 1925 — February 13, 2021

Norman R. Haag, beloved husband of the late Harriet (Minsterman) Haag, loving father of Larry (Sue) Haag, Terry L. Haag, Dennis (Lynn) Haag, and Kathy (Wayne) Edwards; devoted grandfather of Stephanie (Tom) Conner, Ryan (Katrina) Gohmann, Casey (Sean) Conrad, Timothy (Domineek) Haag, Nicole (Mark) Marquez, Samantha (Ben) Timpe and Joshua (Lindsey) Haag, and great-grandfather of 17. Loving brother of Nancy (Douglas) Knoblock and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Walter (Peggy) Haag, Jerry (Chris) Haag, and Jack (Doris) Haag.

Norman was a United States Veteran serving in the Navy in World War II. After serving his country, he wore many hats ranging from union glazier to minister in the United Church of Christ to resident manager at Cottingham Retirement Community, which he retired from at age 90. 

Norman passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 95. A private celebration of life will be held at the Bethany United Church of Christ in Lebanon, Ohio on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a link for viewing live or at a later time on the Bethany United Church of Christ Face Book page. The family will receive visitors at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd (Rt 42), West Chester, OH 45069 on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Hospice of Cincinnati or to Soft Bones, Inc., 141 Hawkins Place #267, Boonton, NJ 07005
