Pamela Sue Ervin

Mrs. Pamela Sue Ervin, age 70, of Richmond, passed away Saturday morning, May 13, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. 

 

Pam was born on March 5, 1953, in Wayne County, a daughter of the late Clifford Holzapfel and Donna Mae Ervin. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and two brothers, Mike and Robert. 

 

Pam had a love for music. She enjoyed all genres. She would sing, clap and dance. She also enjoyed going to church. Church was a place where she could sing the gospel, listen to the word, and spend time with her daughters. And she loved to go fishing. She was never very good at catching anything. It was all about the cast and reel. These were her happiest moments. Most of all, she looked forward to seeing her daughters. She was always thinking of us.

 

Pam has left behind a legacy, three daughters, Christine (David), Angeline (Jim) and Jeorgene, six grandchildren, Chancelor (Savannah), Zachary (Anna), Joshua, Amber, Yoseh and Seth and two great grandchildren, Theodore and Micah. 

 

Mom had a strong heart and she held on to the very end. She will be missed.
