Patricia Louise Buse

Patricia Louise (Brown) Buse, aged 68, passed away on February 2, 2021 in Ruskin, FL. She died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. Patty and her husband, Leo Henry Buse III, had shared 48 years of marriage together.
Born in Cincinnati, OH on October 13, 1952, she was the daughter of Marguerite (Cassinelli) Brown (Buse). Patty and her two sisters, Rita (Brown) Hoppert and Kathy (Brown) Harmeier, were raised on a nursery that is now Cassinelli Square. She is a graduate of Ursuline Academy, class of 1971. Patty and Lee were high school sweethearts, married in 1972 in Cincinnati and raised their family there.
Patty enjoyed many things in her lifetime: travelling with her husband and friends to tropical locations and islands, skiing, horse racing and spending time with her family. After retiring, Patty and Lee moved to Florida where she took up pickleball and golf. She was, and will continue to be, a loyal fan of Xavier Musketeers basketball.
Patty was a proud mother, aunt, grandmother and godmother, loving wife and devoted friend. She was fiercely dedicated to her family. She will be remembered for her boundless energy and stubborn determination, which helped her survive cancer twice. She had a great sense of humor but lacked patience. She would prefer if we stopped crying and got on with things.
Patricia is survived by her husband, her two sisters, a son, Leo Henry Buse IV (Shelly), a daughter, Leslie Roma (Buse) Fritinger (Jon), and three grandchildren, JP Fritinger, Theodore Fritinger and Bailey Buse. She is predeceased by her mother and her step-father, Leo Henry Buse Jr (think about it).
A memorial service will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home in Cincinnati from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Friday, February 26th. Address for the memorial service is 7401 Vine St. Cincinnati, OH 45216. Burial service will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on the morning of Saturday, February 27th at 11:00 A.M.
