Paul Joseph Ficker, 68, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2025.

Paul was born on October 17, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Warren and Mary Lou Ficker.

He was a graduate of Roger Bacon High School (Class of 1974).

He happily married his soulmate, Karen Marie Ficker (Kuhl), on April 17, 1982.

Karen and Paul remained happily married for 39 years, welcoming 3 children along the way; Ashley M Wellendorf, Matthew P Ficker, and Stephen J Ficker.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Karen, his father Warren, mother-in-law Marie Kuhl, and father-in-law John Kuhl.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley (Brad) Wellendorf and sons Matthew and Stephen (Maddie) Ficker; his four grandchildren Elijah Ficker, Grayson Ficker, Rose Wellendorf, and Alice Wellendorf; his mother, Mary Lou Ficker, his brother Kurt (Diane) Ficker, sister Lynn (Jim) Barger, as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Paul was an adoring husband, loving father, and devoted grandfather. He had a smile and laugh that could light up a room and will be forever loved and missed.

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, 45224 on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 9:00 am - 10:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 North Bend Road, Cincinnati, 45247 at 11:00 AM.
