Paul Kester Platt

Paul K., age 77, passed away at home on March 3, 2017. Survived by his wife of 52 years Norma Jo; children Paul Bryan of NY, NY, Pamela Jo of Mountain View, CA, Eric of Cincinnati, Terrilynn of Rockville, MD, and Suzanne (Austin Amaya) Platt of Reston, VA; granddaughter Lara Westmeath Platt of Mountain View, CA; and brother Danny B. (Linda) Platt of Cincinnati. Resident of Maple Knoll Village, formerly of Greenhills. Paul was born in Hugheston, WV. He graduated from the Univ. of Virginia and later earned an M.S. in Chemistry from Purdue Univ. and an M.B.A. from Xavier Univ. He was a career chemist and manager in Procter & Gamble’s Research & Development at the Ivorydale, Sharon Woods, and Winton Hill technical centers. Paul was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary parish. He later joined St. Vivian parish and was a member of the CRHP group. After moving to Maple Knoll, Paul attended St. Gabriel church. Visitation at St. Vivian Church, 7600 Winton Rd., Finneytown 45224, Thursday, March 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Our Lady of the Rosary, St. Vivian, or St. Gabriel.  Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com.
