Pedro Q. Abiog

Pedro “Pete” Queron Abiog, 76, of Cincinnati Ohio, died January 25, 2011, at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Center at Drake Hospital. He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be so sadly missed, but will forever be in our hearts. He was born March 31, 1934, in Brookspoint, Palawan Philippines, son of late Nicholas and Pilar Abiog. He was the 7th of 10 siblings. He was married to Paciencia Canlas Abiog on April 14, 1968. He graduated from Centro Escolar University with a BS in Medical Technology. For more than 25 years he was a Medical Technologist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati and retired in 1999. He was also an avid videographer and ran his own video production company. He is survived by his son, Jerry Abiog of Atlanta, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Abiog and Rachel Wallace of Indianapolis, IN; and son and daughter-in-law Michael Abiog and Patti Lee, of Austin, TX. Mr. Abiog was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his siblings Felimon Q. Abiog; Avelino Q. Abiog; Wilfredo Q. Abiog; Vivencio Q. Abiog; Nicholas B. Abiog Jr.; Felicito B .Abiog; and Aurora B. Abiog. Visitation, Saturday January 29 at Hodapp Funeral Home-College Hill (6041 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45224) from 10 until small service at 11:30 am. Burial will follow immediately at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to the Pedro Abiog Scholarship Fund at St. Xaiver High School.
