Phyllis B. Paffhausen

PAFFHAUSEN, Phyllis B., dear sister of Martha (Burton) Eby and the late Edward (Theresa) Burns, Catherine (Tom) Hailstones, Mary (Arthur) Badger, Jack Paffhausen and Jim (Theresa) Paffhausen, also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the age of 79 after a long illness. Private services to be held at a later date. Phyllis was former president of the St. Clare Guild at Mercy Franciscan Terrace, volunteered at Mercy Franciscan Terrace and donated her time as a Braillist for the Association for the Blind in Michigan and Ohio. According to her wishes, Phyllis’s body has been donated to UC Medical School. Phyllis’s family would like to thank the staff at Glendale Place for the great care she received.
