Phyllis Kay Gossett-Cox

Phyllis Kay Gossett-Cox was born on July 31, 1943 in Cains Store, KY.  She departed this life at the age of 80 on October 27, 2023 at Glendale Place Care Facility in Woodlawn OH with beloved family by her side.   

Phyllis was the treasured sister of Lucy (late Glen) Johnson and sister-in-law of Glenda Gossett.  She was a cherished aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, great-great-great aunt and friend to many.   

Phyllis was proceeded in death by: her parents:  Clarence and Atha (nee Tarter) Gossett;  three brothers  William C. Gossett, Roy G. Gossett and Bobby Joe Gossett; and three sisters  Ila Pavey, Bernice Mathias and Mary York.   

Funeral Services will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset KY on Saturday, November 4, 2023.  The visitation service will be from 11am-1pm and the service will begin at 1pm with Bruce Johnson officiating.  Burial will be at Caintown Cemetery in Cains Store, KY.   Memorial donations can be made in memory of Phyllis to Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org/cincinnati or to any charity of your choice.
