Polly Margaret Davidson

Polly Margaret Cook Davidson was born July 28th 1925 in Blue Diamond (Hazard) KY, the daughter of James Lincoln Cook and Nora May Stacy Cook. She was preceded in death by her two daughters Betty Jean and Mary Rose, her mother and father, four brothers, Lee, Willy, George and James Jr and one sister Della Rose Poole. She leaves behind a daughter Linda (John) Terrell, a son Steve Lyons, and her granddaughter Johnna-Mari Terrell. She also leaves behind four sisters, Mary Helen (Richard) Lynam, Audrey Smith, Paulene Fox, Rubie (Ron) Smith, and two brothers, Charles and Verlin. Margaret was active in church, loved to bake, and was a devoted grandmother. Marge, as the patrons of the restaurants where she worked for more than forty years knew her, had a successful career as a waitress, cook, and manager. In retirement one of her greatest joys was providing cakes, cookies, and pies for her church bake sale. Like her mother before her, she was truly a great cook and loving mother, sister, and friend. Rest in peace, loving soul.
