R. J. "Jay" Bernard

Bernard, R. J. “Jay”, beloved husband of the late Geneva M. (nee Hudson) Bernard.  Loving companion of Shirley Stone.  Dear father of Sharon (Vince) Frost, Kim (Mike) Dennis, Sandy (Chris) Holden, Tom (Mary) Bernard and Steven (Nicole) Bernard.  Also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.  Passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at the age of 81.  Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., (Rt. 42) West Chester on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:30 p.m.  Jay formerly owned and operated the Mobil gas station in Carthage for many years.  Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.
