Raymond Leroy O'Banion

Raymond Leroy O’Banion, age 90, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of the late Phyllis Ruth O’Banion. Raymond is survived by his children: Kathleen (Thomas) Riesenberg, Sherri O’Banion, Raymond O’Banion Jr., Michael O’Banion (Linda) and David (Kim) Wittkamp; nine grandchildren: Aimee, Amanda, Kyle, Eric, Megan, Heather, Christopher, Trisha and Matthew; sixteen great-grandchildren: Leslie, Landen, Everly, Marlee, Archer, Aiden, Logan, Ethan, Rozalyn, Gwenivere, Edmund, Robbie, Colton, Amber, Fionna and Finnley; Great great grandchild Willow; Brother Ronald (Zan) O’Banion; Sister Beverly (David) Henderson; numerous other loving relatives and close friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bertha O’Banion, brother Bill O’Banion and sister Dorothy (Kinchen) Britt. Raymond requested for an intimate burial and funeral. The family wishes to thank all of those who sent prayers and cared for him during his last days. For those who have known Raymond in his life journey with us, his graveside service will be held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery on December 13, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. Celebration of Life to follow 1:00 - 5:00 at the Heritage Green Clubhouse, 291 Heritage Green Drive, Monroe, OH 45050. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to: American Cancer Society.
