Richard Crain, an Automotive Service Director for nearly 40 years and lifelong resident of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on February 20, 2022 at the age of 67 ,while at home with his wife.
Rick is survived by his wife Carol Crain (nee Songer); his children Tyler Crain and Carley (Matthew) Barthel; his Grandchildren Cailyn and Tyler A. Crain; Joel and Truett Barthel; his Sister Peggy (Jake) Miller and Keith Crain; He is predeceased by his parents Henrietta and Russel Crain and his brother Jerry Crain.
Rick was born in Dayton, OH on February 1, 1955. He graduated from Little Miami High School in 1973. On August 25, 1990 he married his wife Carol. On July 19, 1982 and November 18, 1993 he welcomed his children Tyler and Carley respectively.
Rick was heavily devoted to his faith, his family and close friends. Over the years, Rick served and mentored those around him with an extraordinary amount of love, joy, humility and passion. Rick didn't know a stranger and was always quick to offer a helping hand or words of advice in the most sincere, genuine way. Rick will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A visitation service is scheduled for 4:00-7:00 p.m. on February 25 at Hodapp Funeral Home: 8815 Cincinnati - Columbus Rd in West Chester, OH 45069
