Richard "Dick" Langenecker

Richard “Dick” Langenecker, age 90 of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 after a long illness. Born on January 19 th , 1932 to William and Esther Langenecker; Richard was a graduate of Roger Bacon High School and Xavier University, where he focused his lifelong love of numbers into a masters degree in business and finance. He also served our country valiantly in the US Army during the Korean War. Richard was a beloved and devoted brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his sister, Sister Rene Langenecker OSF, as well as by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Esther Langenecker, his father William Langenecker, and his brother, Robert Langenecker.

Services will be held on Tuesday, October 11th at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati OH 45224. A visitation will be held between 10-11am, with services at 11. Burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Northgate Park Assisted Living, for the wonderful and tender care he received while living there; as well as thanking the staff at Vitas Hospice Cincinnati for helping Richard pass on peacefully and with dignity.
