Richard Edward McCane
October 17, 1954 — September 12, 2018
Richard Edward McCane, passed away on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He was 63 years old.
Beloved husband of Sandra Lois McCane for over 45 years. Father to Ricky (Angie) McCane and Jonathan (Jennifer) McCane. Loving Grandfather to Rebecca, Matthew, Tyler and Lillian Rose.
Rick was also survived by a large extended family including his siblings Ray C. McCane, Paul McCane, Cindy Duckwall, Michelle Dodson, Jackie Thomas, Doug McCane and Tammy Pike as well as many good friends.
He was proceeded in death by both of his parents, Father, Clyde McCane, Mother, Maxine Mirick and sister, Nancy Adcock.
Rick worked in the field of corrugated box manufacturing until the time of his retirement. He was a very skilled and avid fisherman.
After many years of dedicated prayers, Rick’s family and friends were overjoyed when he gave his heart to the Lord and was wonderfully saved and reborn in Christ Jesus on May 16th, 2018.
Services will be held at the Free Holiness Church of God at 3425 Cornell Road, Sharonville Ohio 45241. Visitation will be Friday, September 14th from 5 – 8 pm at the church. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 15th at 10 am also at the church with internment at Crown Hill Memorial Park afterwards. Rev. Randy Brown will be officiating and Hodapp Funeral Home will be serving the family.
