Richard H. Sander

SANDER, Richard H. Beloved husband of Virginia “Mickie” Sander (nee Ruehl).  Loving father of Richard O. Sander, Mary “Beth” Day, Anthony W. (Emily) Sander, Michael J. Sander and Joseph A. (Amy) Sander.  Dear brother of Raymond Sander and Mary Jane Bellman.  Stepfather of Bill (Gina) Ruehl, Tony (Clare) Ruehl, Ginny (Jim) Focke and Susan (Layne) Yager.  Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Rich worked for Procter & Gamble for 35 years, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, coached youth baseball and basketball in Cincinnati for 21 years and played on the 1958 National Championship Over Age 18 Baseball Team in Glendale.   Passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at age 86.  Visitation at St. James of the Valley Church, 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming, Monday, July 9, 2018, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.  Memorials may be made to Roger Bacon High School, 4320 Vine St., St. Bernard, OH 45217.
