Neefus, Richard T. beloved husband of Midge Neefus (nee Bunker) for 27 years, loving father of Leah (Adam) Browning and Eric (Erin) Neefus, dear Poppi of Avery, Ben, Olivia, Madison, Carter and Nolan, passed away August 21, 2017 surrounded by those he loved most. Rick was loyal, had a wonderful sense of humor and always made time for his family. He loved to stay active and loved sports. He was also very athletic himself. He had a varied working career, including engineering, and also ran his own small business. But his real passion was being a sports official. Rick was a dedicated youth sports referee of 20 + years, who was committed to teaching young people how to play the game fairly and competitively. Visitation will be at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Township, OH 45044 Friday from 5:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 pm.
